Dr. Reps Barnes Sundin is trained in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, and specializes in aesthetic surgery. He is one of the few plastic surgeons to undergo formal fellowship training in cosmetic surgery.

A native of Virginia, Dr. Sundin attended Norfolk Academy, where he graduated with honors. He then attended Georgetown University, where he was elected into the honor society Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology.

While at Georgetown, Dr. Sundin worked on several years of cellular research, focusing on breast cancer at the Lombardi Cancer Center. He then went on to receive an academic scholarship to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, which is regarded as one of the best hospitals in the country.

While in medical school, Dr. Reps Sundin was elected as Vice President of the exclusive medical school honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He also pursued research in Plastic Surgery during medical school, having obtained an NIH fellowship.

During his fellowship, Dr. Reps Sundin also had independent operating privileges and ran his own cosmetic clinic. He also participated in the education and supervision of NYU plastic surgery residents.

Dr. Reps Sundin is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also ATLS, ACLS, BCLS, Hyperbaric Oxygen certified. He has many published articles, presentations, awards, and honors to his name.
