From Consultation to Results: Your Liposuction Timeline

Before Your Procedure: During your consultation with Dr. Burton Sundin or Dr. Reps Sundin, you’ll discuss your goals, your anatomy, and which liposuction approach fits you best. We’ll walk you through the details, review your medical history, and help you feel fully prepared for surgery day.
During Your Liposuction: Depending on your treatment plan, your procedure may last 30 minutes to two hours. We perform most lipo procedures right in our office under local anesthesia, and you’ll be able to head home shortly after.
After Your Procedure: You’ll wear a compression garment for a few days to control swelling and support your new contours. Many patients return to work and light movement in 3–5 days, while results continue to improve over the following weeks.
